ABSTRACT
The future of cancer treatment lies in novel combinations of cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agents and targeted drugs. However, the principal role of appropriate surgery should not be underestimated. What are the risks of inadequate surgery giving emphasis on the efficacy of radiotherapy and adjuvant treatment?
