PERSPECTIVE

Emerging goals of static and dynamic intratumor and circulating cell-free DNA heterogeneity in cancer.

Z. Zheng, PhD.

Abstract
Highly promising data on genome and transcriptome bulk sequencing-based have recently been reported in top journals. However, validation is required concerning the lack of protocols and appropriate large-scale studies.
This perspective article proposes a step-wise algorithmic approach to translate genomic and transcriptomics into initial phase of clinical precision oncology. Moreover, in this perspective article, potential clinical implication of  non-coding genome functionality and transcriptional networks are discussed.
