Abstract
Pancreatic adenocarcinoma is one of the most aggressive tumors with high mortality rates even in early-stage after surgical resection and adjuvant treatment.
Next-generation sequencing (NGS) in patient-derived samples has led into recent reports providing exciting data on pancreatic cancer driver genes druggable mutations. Whether the shifting from current progress to advances for the development of prognostic and predictive biomarkers with genome sequencing is discussed in this article.
