Minimally invasive, either laparoscopic or robotic, surgery is dramatically fast altering the landscape in the surgical treatment of solid cancers. Cancer is already a major heath problem and will become the top human challenge in the near future. With an expected increase in cancer incidence by 55% in 2020 [1], patients and their physicians will increasingly seek the best treatment highly specialized institutions.
